On June 2023, Misongi alumna Rose Augusta Tchuenkam on graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics. She was joined in her celebration by friends, family and fellow Misongi alumni in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
Rose’s four-year journey in Williamstown, Massachusetts was a thrilling experience marked by discovery, growth and resilience. Few highlights of her time at Williams include:
- Being selected as an Allison Davis Undergraduate Research Scholar. This selective endeavor works to increase racial and socio-economic diversity in higher education by preparing students from underrepresented groups for academic careers.
- Receiving the Dunbar Writing Prize. It is designed to encourage the efforts of promising campus writers and recognizes Williams’ students who have produced significant written work about campus life in its social, political, educational, and/or religious aspects.
- Making Dean’s List every semester of her four years at Williams College.
