Access to a world-class university can transform a student’s future. Yet for many talented young people, academic excellence and ambition alone are not enough to overcome the financial barriers associated with studying abroad.
At Misongi, our mission is to help bridge that gap by identifying high-potential students and supporting them on their journey to leading universities around the world.

The Dallé Family Scholarship for African Talent brings this mission to life. Created through the support of Bernard Dallé and a collaboration between IE Foundation and the Misongi College Access Program, the scholarship gives an exceptional student the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at IE University with 100% of tuition fees covered, together with living expenses.

More than financial support, the scholarship reflects a shared ambition: to give talented young leaders access to an international education and empower them to create lasting positive change in Africa.

The Dallé Family Scholarship: A Shared Commitment to Talent

Established in 2024 with the support of Bernard Dallé, the Dallé Family Scholarship is the result of a collaboration between IE Foundation and the Misongi College Access Program.

The initiative builds directly on Misongi’s work to identify and support young people with outstanding academic potential, leadership qualities and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to their communities.

At Misongi, gaining admission to a leading international university is not viewed as an end in itself. It is part of a broader journey.
By helping students develop their academic profile, leadership skills and ambitions, we aim to give them the tools they need not only to access exceptional educational opportunities, but also to use those opportunities to create lasting impact.
The Dallé Family Scholarship embodies that vision by bringing together academic excellence, opportunity, leadership and service.

What Does the Dallé Family Scholarship Cover?

Financing an international education can be one of the greatest challenges facing students who want to study abroad. The Dallé Family Scholarship was designed to remove this barrier for an exceptional Misongi student.

The program provides one scholarship per academic year for a full-time Bachelor’s degree at IE University. It includes :
100% coverage of Bachelor’s tuition fees;
a living expenses package.

This comprehensive financial support enables the selected student to focus on their education, personal development and university experience without tuition fees becoming an obstacle to their ambitions.

Within the broader landscape of fully funded scholarships for international students, opportunities combining full tuition coverage with support for living expenses can make a decisive difference. In this case, however, the Dallé Family Scholarship has specific eligibility requirements: it is currently designed for eligible Cameroonian students admitted to Misongi and applies specifically to Bachelor’s studies at IE University.

Who Can Apply for the Dallé Family Scholarship?

The Dallé Family Scholarship currently supports exceptional Cameroonian students who have been admitted to Misongi and wish to pursue a full-time Bachelor’s degree at IE University.

Selection goes beyond academic results alone. Candidates are expected to demonstrate :

  • a strong academic record;
  • outstanding personal qualities;
  • leadership potential;
  • a commitment to social progress;
  • an ambition to make a positive impact after graduation.

Applicants must also gain admission to an eligible Bachelor’s program at IE University. Financial need may also be taken into consideration as part of the scholarship process.

Ultimately, the scholarship seeks students whose ambitions extend beyond their own academic success: young people who want to use their education, skills and experiences to contribute to their communities and to Africa’s future.

More Than a Scholarship: Misongi’s Role in the Journey

Securing an international scholarship does not begin with a financial aid application. It is often the result of months, and sometimes years, of preparation.

Through the Misongi College Access Program, students receive support as they prepare for the demanding process of applying to international universities.

This journey can involve academic preparation, standardized tests, application essays, university selection, mentoring and guidance throughout the admissions process.

The objective is not simply to help students submit applications. It is to enable them to build a profile that authentically reflects their academic abilities, personality, achievements, commitments and long-term ambitions.
Within the Dallé Family Scholarship, this role is particularly meaningful. Misongi helps create the bridge between outstanding potential and an international opportunity capable of transforming a student’s future.

An International Scholarship with a Long-Term Vision for Africa

The Dallé Family Scholarship is about more than funding one student’s university education.

The collaboration between Misongi, IE Foundation and the Dallé family is built around a longer-term ambition: empowering talented young people to gain an international education and use their knowledge, experience and leadership to create positive change.
The program builds on Misongi’s work identifying young talent with academic excellence, leadership potential and a vision for creating lasting impact in Africa.

This vision is central to Misongi’s mission. Opening doors to leading universities creates opportunities for students to learn in international environments, broaden their perspectives and develop skills that can later contribute to their communities and the continent as a whole.

The Dallé Family Scholarship therefore illustrates what can happen when African talent, educational guidance, financial support and international higher education come together around a shared purpose.

From Misongi to IE University: How Does the Process Work?

Access to the Dallé Family Scholarship is part of a structured selection process.
Candidates must first be admitted to Misongi. They must then apply to and gain admission to an eligible full-time Bachelor’s program at IE University before completing the relevant scholarship process.
Academic excellence is essential, but candidates are also assessed on their leadership abilities, personal profile and commitment to creating positive social impact.

Because scholarship requirements, application procedures and deadlines may change between academic years, students should always refer to the latest official information from IE Foundation and IE University before applying.
For talented students with the ambition to study at a leading international university, preparation starts well before the application itself.
